Main Question

The Allies say that we are only being visited by those acting against our well-being and that humanity must mount a defense. Is the Allies' message fear-based?

Responses at the Meeting

Mounting a defense really means becoming strong in Knowledge. The Allies are trying to extend assistance to us, not to incite fear.

Where did the idea of this being “fear-based” come from? Being cautious is very different from being fear-based. The claim that the Allies material is fear-based is often a projection of people who are already in fear.

Is the Weather Channel talking about global warming fear-based? If your mother tells you not to smoke because it will ruin your health, is that fear-based?
Everyone has experienced genuine fear. In the face of fear or danger some people take action, and some people become immobilized. We don’t want to dismiss fear. Fear can be useful, alerting us to real danger. Sometimes people are afraid because they actually know something. Fear that is imagined or unrealistic is not useful.

Fear has also been used to get people to do things. After 9/11, it seems the government has used fear to justify certain changes.

Some of us experienced fear when we first read the Allies’ message, and didn’t want to hear this or to look at what they were saying. Our reaction in such circumstances provides an opportunity to discover our emotions, leading to further understanding. It’s an opportunity for self-education. We need to acknowledge our fears, and examine them. Often we jump too quickly into trying to not be afraid.

It’s important not to be defensive with people. We want to ignite Knowledge in others, not persuade them. Who are we trying to reach? We are looking for those on the plains who are ready to climb the mountain. Our approach is to have faith in Knowledge, to speak from Knowledge, to speak to Knowledge in others.

Often this requires exploration. Sometimes we can ask ,”Why do you think this is fear-based? Tell me more about why you feel that way.” Or we can use a simple process: “Take a moment. What do you really know about this?” Remember, people have different entry points. We want to engage them based on where they are functionally.

The Allies state in the Fourth Briefing of the first Allies book, "We hope there will be those who can recognize that our messages are not here to evoke fear and panic but to engender responsibility and a commitment to the preservation of freedom and good within your world." Those are the people we need to find and share the Allies' message with!

In step 87 "I will not be afraid of what I know" and step 162 "I will not be afraid today" of Steps to Knowledge and "Faith and Fear" from Wisdom I is one example of many that the allies message is not intended to promote fear. The allies themselves walked the path of knowledge, and fear is something that is recognized as a plague on humanity.
Everyone who have read the allies message could become afraid, that is natural, but then you realize that fear has been used by nations, religions to control mass public and even now the Intervention is using it so people cannot respond to anything.
It is better to be cautious - that is not fear but to be mindfull of the moment, concentrated. A mind without knowledge is vulnerable and afraid, so the allies material are not fear-based but prepare-based so humanity can respond with knowledge and wisdom to the intervention.

Is the Allies message fear-based? I find the question irrelevant. When somebody tells you that your purse is being stolen, is their message fear-based?? What most people will do first is check whether their purse is being stolen. And that is exactly what we should do with the Allies message. Start searching to find whether there are any Extraterrestrials in, on and around our planet and force them to stop their activities here. To pose this question is to be fear-based (I don't want to be rude here, just truthful).

From Michael in Oregon, USA

When read by the personal mind, the Allies message can certainly seem fear-based. This fear is not inherent in the message, however; it is inherent in the personal mind, which is fear-based. As a student of Knowledge, I know the message can be experienced very differently. In fact, from this perspective, even the Intervention itself can be understood as a gift, for it brought the New Message and the teaching of the Greater Community Way of Knowledge to humanity. In this way, the Allies message can be viewed as love-based...a gift from the Unseen Ones and those who work with them for the greater good and the Plan of God.

From Brooke in United Kingdom,

I must say, in all fairness, and in good conscience, and ethics, I agree with Niko; being fear based is to DISCOURAGE the search for Knowledge.
